Well!! A lot has happened since last I posted! My computer is being a big pile, so I won't have as many pictures, but I promise that tomorrow I will take care of that. I'm going to hang out with my baby sister after work &am planning on bringing my laptop into town. Until then ..

THURSDAY: After I posted, I had work! I had a long day at Caribou and then a going away party for one of my best friends, Andie. It got a little hairy, a little teary, a little crazy, but it was generally fun! Lots of crazy pictures; those will be the ones I'll show you tomorrow! Andie is going to Portland to go to grad school for Art Therapy, so that is so cool, but I will miss her lots. She is one of the sweetest and most genuine people I know. Plus .. it'll give me a reason to go visit the west! :3

FRIDAY: I was incredibly hungover. I thought I was fine when I got to work at 9am, but once I woke up a little more and realized I was very dehydrated (and had to climb up and down a ladder for planogram a bunch), I did not feel great anymore. I just was very panic-y, just because I had paid to go to a Bhangra bellydance workshop that Channa was putting on that night. I was really looking forward to it, but I was feeling pretty dizzy and barfy by around 3. I ended up taking off of work early and went to my mom &dad's house to nap for an hour before the class &it helped! I still wasn't the best, just because of how little I had eaten, but by the end of the class I was so happy to have gone! It kicked my ass! We learned a 4-minute dance and were set to perform it the next day at Pride Fest!!

SATURDAY: What a long, fun, exhausting, but all worth-it, day! I had gotten home &basically crashed immediately the night before, but I was still exhausted when I woke up again to work at stupid 9am at Hot Topic! Crazy day at work, though, because at 1:30, I clocked out for a long break to go perform at Pride! I went to the park down in West Mankato and got all bindi'd and coin belted up for our little performance!

The performance went really well &I was so proud that I did it! BUT .. I had to go back to work! Shoot!! Anyway, I was worthless and booked it at around six to go to the FOLK FESTIVAL in a little town a few minutes away! Channa, Corey, Adri and Mark Matejcek were there and we all layed around on a blanket and drank wine and ate snacks. Pretty soon, Adri &Mark left and it was just us three and it was even more fun! ;) We were there until late &danced &giggled and it was a pretty magic end of the night. Came home, watched some MARU KITTY clips on youtube with Markie &fell nini, because ..

SUNDAY: I had to work all day long today, too! 10:30 to 6:30 as the only manager! So I couldn't leave that little cave of a store once! Ughh .. lots of markdowns and mean customers, but it did go fast. Now Markie and I are watching VMAs and football, KIND OF, and I am vegging out. I wish Facebook would let me upload pictures, but it's being a bitch. Maybe tomorrow. HOPEFULLY. It's not like I have to work 9-5:30 at HT, hang out with Ellen, get my oil changed &then go back up to the mall at 9PM for a meeting at Caribou. Oh, or work from 9-430 @HT and then 5-9:30 @Bou on Tuesday. Lots of free time in there. BUT .. WEDNESDAY OFF!!

Love you all! <3 Now Markie &I are watching JACK VAN IMPE PRESENTS!! on PBS or something, this is the scariest show I've ever known. Also I woke up last night to tell Mark that I had just seen a 5 inch tall daddy long legs. Why do I dream-see huge spiders? Ugh!

Hello! I've made it my personal prerogative to try to turn my journal into something more than a "OH HAY, MISS U" type hole. I'm not going to say like a Gala thing, but more along the lines of shrinkle.com or MELIFICENT.COM <3 .. a personal blog, but still entertaining? Who knows. How many times have I said that, BUT .. I need some sort of creative outlet and drawing little lines of lace all over my notebooks isn't cutting it. I'm also thinking that this will help me to have more of an exciting life, as "worked then came home" isn't too crazy. More pictures!! I'm also considering making my journal semi-public. Hmm. I'll start with this entry!

♥ Dressing Up. Not necessarily super fancy like, but taking time to figure out what I want to wear for the day and taking pride in it. This has led to me restarting to take daily outfit pictures (remember when I did this like a year and a half ago?). I have a folder on facebook, but obviously I'll continue to post them on here, too. So ..

♥ Fall! While the weather doesn't quite feel like it yet, I guess today's high is 84, it ~feels~ like it. Everyone is kind of settling back into normal routine, school and homework and gathering for winter, and I just kind of want it to be FALL NOW. I have gotten about a million pumpkin lattes in preparation and have all of my thicker cardigans lying in wait, ready to be grabbed in a moment's notice.

♥ Five Guys Burgers & Fries. Ok, YUM. I know I might be late to the party, but that can be blamed on the fact that it is pretty new to the midwest. Markie &I have been there twice now and both times I have eaten way more than possible, I just couldn't stop myself. My personal favourite is the Famous Cheeseburger with grilled mushrooms, grilled onions and mayo! :9 And the cajun fries are excellent. Markie and I were just up there &I thought I had learned my lesson from last time, so I only ordered one burger and the fries. About 10 minutes later, I was back up at the counter ordering another burger. WHOOPS!

♥ One Day Road Trips. Last Sunday I went to the twin cities with my best, Channa. We stopped in Northfield, MN, on the way, in hopes to catch Jesse James Days! Northfield was the town where a bunch of Jesse James' gang members got all shot up while trying to rob a bank, so the town is decked out in old west paraphernalia and their town festival revolves around the bank robbers. Well.. it was only a Jesse James DAY, I guess, and it was on Labor Day. So we were a day off, but it was still fun. We visited a little bar/cafe for lunch &a create-your-own Bloody Mary. We met a giant hot dog, as you saw, and generally caused trouble. After that, we trekked up to the Mall of America, where I got that cute, lacy white skirt in my What I Wore outfit I posted yesterday. We stopped at Buca di Beppo after and shared a bottle of Chianti and a baked pasta platter. Our original waitress never showed at our table, so the stand-in brought us free cheesecake to make up for it. Yum!!

♥ KICKBALL! Last Saturday we held our third K'mon Kickball at a park in town. It is just so fun to me to run around with my friends outside and act like little kids. No one is wonderful and we all wake up the next morning unable to move our legs anymore, but it is worth it. This time we had less people, but it made it more fun, I think - we all had a lot more chance to play and a lot less time waiting around for our turn. The best/worst part was halfway through the game, some middle aged man in a pick up truck pulled up to the field and watched us until we were done. SO WEIRD? A kickball talent scout perhaps? Or just your misguided pervert? Who knows. The only time he got out of his truck, (which had its windows rolled up), was to help some of the boys get a pump needle out of the ball. How did he know? He had a pliers in hand. As soon as our game was done, he sped away. HMMM!
